Due out in mid-December, the MCEX-11 and MCEX-16 are each set to cost \u00a369.99. They are designed to still allow use of AF and aperture control when attached.<\/p>\n

The mount rings are made of \u2018high-grade\u2019 solid metal, according to Fuji.<\/p>\n\"5\"<\/a>\n

Fuji has also today announced it will release firmware updates for the X-T1 and X-T1 Graphite Silver Edition on 18 December, in a move aimed at enhancing \u2018operability and functions\u2019.<\/p>\n

Commenting on the Fujifilm X-T1 version 3.00 update, Fuji says: \u2018The Fujinon XF lens series line-up includes a number of fast fixed-focal-length lenses that boast very high sharpness with the aperture wide open, producing excellent out-of-focus \u201cbokeh\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u2018However, fast apertures are difficult to use if the light is too bright, so to ensure users can create shallow depth-of-field effects, the camera is now equipped with a fully electronic shutter offering a maximum shutter speed of 1\/32,000sec.<\/p>\n

\u2018The mechanical shutter will not operate at all when any speed for the electronic shutter is selected, which also delivers a completely silent shooting experience; perfect for shots of sleeping children, pets, weddings and more.<\/p>\n

\u2018In addition, it is possible to set the electronic shutter in 1\/3 steps from a range of 1-32,000sec.\u2019<\/p>\n

The update allows the volume of the shutter sound to be adjusted.<\/p>\n

\"Fujifilm<\/a>Also set to be released on 18 December is firmware version 3.00 for the X-E2, which\u00a0adds Fuji\u2019s Classic Chrome film simulation mode, for example.<\/p>\n

The X-E2 update is also claimed to enable seamless manual focusing when using the AF+MF function.<\/p>\n

\u2018After half-pressing the shutter to autofocus on the subject, fine adjustment can then be made using the manual focus ring.\u2019<\/p>\n

This function will also be available through firmware update version 3.40 for the X-Pro1 and version 2.40 for the X-E1.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, PC tethered shooting software for the X-T1 (HS-V5 for Windows Ver 1.0)\u00a0is due out in January at a price yet to be announced.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
