The Nikon Coolpix P900\u2019s f\/2.8-6.5 lens is designed to deliver the 35mm viewing angle equivalent of a 24-2,000mm zoom.<\/p>\n

Features include a 16-million-pixel CMOS imaging sensor and Dual Detect Optical VR which aims to equate to five stops more of shutter speed.<\/p>\n

The Nikon Coolpix P900 sports a vari-angle 3in screen that carries\u00a0a resolution on 921,000 dots.<\/p>\n

Speaking at a compact camera launch in central London\u2019s Ice Bar, on 10 February, Nikon UK\u2019s group marketing manager Jeremy Gilbert told journalists that \u2018superzoom\u2019 cameras will be \u2018one of the most important markets for this year\u2019.<\/p>\n
