Harman Direct Positive FB Glossy paper
\n<\/em><\/p>\n

Harman Direct Positive Fiber Base paper is a high-contrast, traditional silver gelatine b&w paper, with a glossy surface.<\/p>\n

It is suitable for pinhole cameras, producing a unique positive print, without the need for a film negative.<\/p>\n

Harman points out that it can also be used for direct exposure in large-format or Lomo-type cameras (the latter by cutting out small sheets).<\/p>\n

The emulsion for the fiber base paper was originally made by Ilford Imaging Switzerland which closed its factory<\/a> at the end of 2013.<\/p>\n

Since then, Cheshire-based firm Harman technology says it has been \u2018working hard to secure access to the emulsion and the know-how to transfer production to Mobberley\u2019.<\/p>\n

Steven Brierley, Director of Sales and Marketing at Ilford Photo\/Harman technology, said: \u2018We have had many enquiries from all over the world asking when and if users would be able to buy the product\u2026<\/p>\n

\u2018So. we are now delighted that after the uncertainty of the last 12 months we have finally found a route to bring it\u00a0back.\u2019<\/p>\n

Harman Direct Positive Fiber Base paper is expected to go on sale in the UK in July.<\/p>\n
