Many objects can hold sentimental value for a host of reasons, and cameras are no exception.<\/p>\n

In a recent edition of our regular magazine feature ‘My life in Cameras’, Andrew Sanderson fondly recalled a camera that had been his constant companion for several years.<\/p>\n

‘When I went to college to study photography, I bought a Pentax SP500 35mm camera that I carried around everywhere. I loved it and I owe so many of my favourite images to this camera,’ he said in the June 13 issue of Amateur Photographer.<\/p>\n

‘I shot hundreds of rolls on it before trading it in for something I thought would be better. I wish I still had it.’<\/p>\n

Andrew had marked the camera out as his by painting it a distinct shade of green \u2013 see above for an artist’s impression \u2013 and now he’s on a mission to find out where it ended up.<\/p>\n
