Three hooded men stole gear worth more than \u00a38,000 in the robbery at the Jessops in Swan Walk, Horsham, West Sussex, last Wednesday (25 June) at around 5pm.<\/p>\n
Police said the men \u2018threatened to hurt staff who tried to stop them taking cameras off the shelves’.<\/p>\n
In a statement, Sussex Police described the first man as black, wearing a black hooded top, white trainers and dark trousers. The second man was described as dark skinned, possible Asian, wearing a dark hooded top, dark trousers and white trainers.<\/p>\n
The third man was described as white, wearing a white hooded top, jeans and white trainers.<\/p>\n
Sergeant Ben Websdale from Sussex Police said: \u2018The men ran through the town centre towards Horsham Park at a time when lots of people would have been on their way home, so there could be plenty of people who saw them escaping.<\/p>\n
\u2018We need to speak to anyone who saw the men or who recognises their descriptions. If you saw or heard any part of the incident, or have any idea where the men could be, please contact us.<\/p>\n
\u2018I would also urge anyone who is offered the chance to buy an expensive camera at a bargain price to get in touch with us.<\/p>\n
\u2018The thieves may try to sell them off cheaply but if we seize one of the cameras from you, you will not get it, or your money, back.’<\/p>\n
