aerial shots of Shard captured from helicopter over London Bridge station"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Network Rail has released eight aerial images captured from the Network Rail helicopter using a Canon EOS-1D X and 28-300mm lens.<\/p>\n<p>The images were taken\u00a0as\u00a0the\u00a0Network Rail team surveyed the track.<\/p>\n<p>The redevelopment of London Bridge will lead to Britain\u2019s biggest station concourse, \u2018the size of the pitch at Wembley\u2019, according to\u00a0Network Rail, which says the\u00a0reconstruction site is as long as the Shard is tall.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesman added: \u2018Network Rail&#8217;s work on the programme will provide the stations, signalling\u00a0and track for new, more frequent trains through the heart of the city, improving reliability and performance.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>The rebuild is expected to be completed in 2018.<\/p>\n<a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/BD0Q2896.web_.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
