The Reuters Instagram account<\/a> showcases the work of around 600 photographers covering news, sport and business stories worldwide.<\/p>\n

A Reuters spokesman said: \u2018The Reuters Instagram account aims to reflect the beauty and diversity of the world \u2013 from the colours of Holi, to cats crowding a Japanese harbour\u2026\u2019<\/p>\n

In May, AP reported how a Reuters photographer survived a snake attack<\/a> to document the impact of Greece’s debt turmoil.<\/p>\n

Greece had caught the eye of Reuters photojournalist Yannis Behrakis, who turned his lens on the country\u2019s struggling industry after a six-year recession.<\/p>\n

The award-winning photographer \u2013 who in 2000 survived an ambush in Sierra Leone \u2013 travelled from Athens to northeastern Greece, and back via the Peloponnese region in the south, to document once-flourishing industry in a country dogged by an unemployment rate of more than 25%.<\/p>\n
