One lens we\u2019ve been eager to get our hands on since the beginning of the year is the Fujinon XF 35mm f\/2 R WR. For starters it&#8217;s lighter and has been made smaller\u00a0to ensure\u00a0it\u2019s a good match with every model in the Fujifilm X-series including the smallest entry-level models such as the <a href=\"http:\/\/amateurphotographer.co.uk\/reviews\/compactsystemcameras\/fujifilm-x-a2-review\" target=\"_blank\">X-A2<\/a> and the discontinued <a href=\"http:\/\/amateurphotographer.co.uk\/reviews\/compactsystemcameras\/fujifilm-x-m1-review\" target=\"_blank\">X-M1<\/a>. The\u00a0XF 35mm f\/1.4 R was one of the first lenses to be made available for\u00a0Fujifilm&#8217;s X-series and has been a huge\u00a0hit with photographers. It&#8217;s a weather resistant optic and has a minimum focus distance of 35mm. Another\u00a0noteworthy feature is its internal focusing system that promises an autofocus acquisition speed of 0.08secs. Below you\u2019ll find further examples illustrating the shallow depth of field that can be\u00a0created by opening the lens to its maximum\u00a0aperture (f\/2).
