NEWS UPDATE 3 DECEMBER: SAMSUNG DENIES MEDIA REPORTS IN OFFICIAL STATEMENT<\/a><\/p>\n

A report by website Mirrorless Rumors<\/a>, citing \u2018TRUSTED sources\u2019, claims this is the reason behind rumours that Samsung is pulling out of the camera business.<\/p>\n

Separately, Samsung is reported to be making a big announcement<\/a> about its future plans at CES in January.<\/p>\n

A Nikon spokesperson told\u00a0Amateur Photographer<\/em> (AP) that the company does not comment on rumours.<\/p>\n

Samsung had yet to respond to a request for comment on the matter at the time of writing.<\/p>\n

However, earlier today, when asked about reports of a major announcement at CES, a Samsung UK spokesperson said: \u2018Samsung cannot comment on rumour or speculation\u2019.<\/p>\n
