\"Winner\u00a9 Olivia Whitfield<\/p>\n

\"Winner\u00a9 Mark Boulton<\/p>\n

Olivia Whitfield from Leeds College of Art in West Yorkshire has been named Ilford Photo Student Photographer of the Year 2015.<\/p>\n

The competition, which pulled in around 1,000 entries, adopted the theme \u2018Saturday Night at the Movies\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Olivia used Ilford HP5+ film for her print entitled \u2018Amelia\u2019s love\u2019.<\/p>\n

Runner-up prizes in the Darkroom category were awarded to Erin Quinn from West Herts College, Edward Alabaster from Anglia Ruskin University; and Sian Lewis and Emma Lyman from Leeds College of Art.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Mark Boulton from Leicester College was crowned Harman technology Student Photographer of the Year 2015 for his shot called \u2018Casino Royale\u2019. Mark won the Digital category.<\/p>\n

Ilford Photo is the trading name of Cheshire-based firm Harman technology Ltd.<\/p>\n

Harman technology’s managing director Peter Elton said: \u2018The image composition and creativity on show in these\u00a0entries was tremendously impressive.\u00a0 Not only in the worthy winners, but in many, many\u00a0others.
\n\u2018It’s\u00a0exciting to see that the current crop of budding photographers has the potential to reach the top.
\n\u2018I am also very pleased that they clearly continue to receive College and University tuition of the highest quality.\u2019<\/p>\n
