Last year<\/a>, Nikon warned D750 users that the shutter does not work properly in some cameras made in October and November 2014.<\/p>\n

However, Nikon has this week revealed that the same glitch may also affect models made between December 2014\u00a0and\u00a0June 2015.<\/p>\n

In an updated advisory notice, Nikon Europe said the fault sometimes results in \u2018shading of a portion of images\u2019.<\/p>\n

Nikon again urges customers to check the seven-digit serial number of their camera to find out whether it is one of the affected models.<\/p>\n

Nikon UK had yet to respond to a request for comment at the time of writing.<\/p>\n

Nikon\u2019s updated statement, dated 29 February 2016:<\/strong>
\nThank you for choosing Nikon for your photographic needs.<\/em><\/p>\n

In July of 2015, we announced that the shutter in some Nikon D750 digital SLR cameras manufactured in October and November of 2014 does not function normally, sometimes resulting in shading of a portion of images. Since that time, our examination of the issue has clarified the fact that the same issue may occur with D750 cameras manufactured from December, 2014 through June, 2015.<\/em><\/p>\n

Therefore, any D750 manufactured from October, 2014 through June, 2015 is eligible for inspection and repair of its shutter.<\/em><\/p>\n

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused.<\/em><\/p>\n
