Wildlife photographer Andy Rouse<\/em><\/p>\n

The events will take place at the Park Cameras store in Burgess Hill, West Sussex, on 17 March, and at the London outlet on 31 March.<\/p>\n

Each will see wildlife and aviation photographer Andy Rouse present test shots and videos that were used to help Canon develop the EOS-1D X Mark II.<\/p>\n

Chris Reszke, manager of Park Cameras in Burgess Hill, said: \u2018We\u2019re really excited to be one of the first in the UK to have the EOS-1D X Mark II physically in the store for people to come and look at, and delighted that with Andy Rouse coming to join the event, we\u2019ll have someone who has been really intimate with the camera over the last few months.<\/p>\n

\u2018If he doesn\u2019t know the answer to a question you\u2019ve got about the camera, I don\u2019t know who will.\u2019<\/p>\n

Announced last month<\/a>, the Canon EOS-1D X Mark II is built to shoot 170 raw files at 14 frames per second before it starts to slow down.<\/p>\n

Largely aimed at sports photographers, speed will be of the essence for the EOS-1D X Mark II when it pitches up against the recently announced Nikon D5 at major sporting events like the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in August.<\/p>\n

Due out in May, priced around \u00a35,200 (body only), the Canon EOS-1D X Mark II\u00a0is designed to shoot at up to 16fps in live view mode.<\/p>\n

It\u00a0features a new 20.2-million-pixel imaging sensor, 4K video and Dual Pixel CMOS AF \u2013 the first full-frame DSLR to have this capability.<\/p>\n
