The Lee Filters Super Stopper filter is designed to allow a 30-second exposure to be achieved from a 1\/1000sec exposure, for example. \u2018As a result, the creative effects of long-exposure photography can now be achieved in brightly sunlit conditions during the middle of the day \u2013 a time when most photographers would consider unsuitable for making images, due to the potentially harsh quality of the light,\u2019 explains Lee Filters. \nLEE Filters has expanded its hugely successful range of long-exposure filters with the introduction of the Super Stopper.<\/em><\/p>\n

With a full 15 stops of light-reducing power, the Super Stopper sits alongside the Big Stopper (10 stops) and the Little Stopper (six stops).<\/em><\/p>\n

When fitting the Super Stopper, a suggested shutter speed of 1\/1000sec becomes a 30-second exposure, while 1\/125sec becomes as long as four minutes. As a result, the creative effects of long-exposure photography can now be achieved in brightly sunlit conditions during the middle of the day \u2013 a time that most photographers would consider unsuitable for making images, due to the potentially harsh quality of the light.<\/em><\/p>\n

Adventurous photographers who really want to explore the effects of long exposures can take a 1\/4sec suggested shutter speed and, with the addition of the Super Stopper, create an image with an exposure of more than two hours!<\/em><\/p>\n

The Super Stopper is manufactured to the same exacting standards as the other filters in the Stopper range, using optical glass that won\u2019t compromise the quality of the final image, and with a minimal colour cast.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Super Stopper comes with a handy credit-card sized exposure calculation guide, and is available for the Seven5, 100mm and SW150 LEE Filters systems.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Super Stopper retails at \u00a370.45 (inc VAT) for the Seven5 System, \u00a3103.82 (inc VAT) for the 100mm System and \u00a3132.00 (inc VAT) for the SW150 System.<\/em><\/p>\n
