London\u2019s Air Ambulance is a charity that has treated more than 34,000 critically injured people since it was founded in 1989.<\/p>\n

Its helicopters are\u00a0used in daylight hours, while its rapid-response cars are deployed at night or in adverse weather.<\/p>\n

Thousands of people photograph London\u2019s Air Ambulance in action each year, often in some high-profile locations such as Buckingham Palace, the British Museum, Trafalgar Square and Horse Guards Parade.<\/p>\n

Now London\u2019s Air Ambulance is on the hunt for images for its 2017 calendar, proceeds from which are set to benefit the service.<\/p>\n

Mark Davies, director of development at London\u2019s Air Ambulance, said: \u2018We receive so many fantastic photos from members of the public, who kindly donate them for the charity\u2019s use.<\/p>\n

\u2018This competition is now a great opportunity for people to showcase their work more widely, while at the same time raising money.\u2019<\/p>\n

Images must have been captured in 2016\u00a0and\u00a0should be emailed to photos@londonsairambulance.co.uk, detailing when and where they were taken.<\/p>\n

The closing date is 22 July 2016.<\/p>\n

The judging panel will be made up of air ambulance staff.<\/p>\n

London\u2019s Air Ambulance treats an average of five people per day and operates in partnership with the Barts Health NHS Trust and the London Ambulance Service.<\/p>\n
