The contest, called ‘In the Street: Europe in detail’, aims to reveal what ‘surprises, delights and inspires you day to day, just by walking down your street’.<\/p>\n

The best three pictures from the UK will feature in the Flickr Calendar 2014, alongside winning images from France, Germany and Spain.<\/p>\n

Prizes also include a \u00a3500 voucher to spend on photo materials.<\/p>\n

The contest will be judged by a panel that includes Amateur Photographer<\/em> technical editor Richard Sibley, after a shortlist has been drawn up based on a public vote.<\/p>\n

The Flickr Calendar 2014 group<\/a> is open for submissions until 20 October.<\/p>\n

Three winners from each country will be announced on 19 November.<\/p>\n
