The first in the digital M series was Leica\u2019s digital rangefinder, the Leica M8, launched in 2006.<\/p>\n

This was followed, in 2009, by the first Leica rangefinder with a full-frame imaging sensor, the Leica M9.<\/p>\n

The digital M family now includes a further five models:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Leica M (Typ 240) \u2013 with high-resolution, full-frame CMOS sensor, Live View and full HD video
\n\u2022 Leica M-P (Typ 240) \u2013 includes a sapphire glass LCD screen cover, frame selection lever and 2GB buffer memory
\n\u2022 Leica M (Typ 262) \u2013 omits Live View and video and concentrates on essential features
\n\u2022 Leica M-D (Typ 262) \u2013 the digital rangefinder without a screen
\n\u2022 Leica M Monochrom (Typ 246) \u2013 with a unique black and white sensor<\/p>\n

\u2018Just like their analogue counterparts, the compact size, discreet design and quiet operation of the digital M rangefinder cameras make them ideal for reportage photography, allowing the photographer to shoot at the centre of the action,\u2019 Leica said in a statement.<\/p>\n

\u2018In addition, thanks to their intuitive controls and extremely user-friendly handling, photographers can concentrate completely on capturing their image.\u2019<\/p>\n

To coincide with the digital M milestone, Leica has launched the following promotions, subject to availability:<\/p>\n
