Leading Airman David Jenkins was crowned Royal
\nNavy Photographer of the Year for 2013 for a portfolio of four photographs that
\nshowed range of life in the Service.<\/p>\n

The panel of judges, which included
\nDaily Telegraph<\/em> picture editor Matthew Fearn and Professor Naren
\nBarfield of the Royal College of Art, selected winners in ten professional
\ncategories as well as three that were open to amateurs.<\/p>\n

Leading Airman Jenkins also won the \u2018Life
\nWithout Limits’ award for an image of two Aircraftwomen aboard the HMS York,
\ntaken just prior to her decommissioning.<\/p>\n

Other winners included Petty Officer Sean Clee,
\nwho took the coveted Peregrine Trophy for the best portfolio of six prints of
\nService-related subjects.<\/p>\n

Sergeant Ben Briggs triumphed in the Amateur categories for a two-image portfolio of survival training. The judges described this year’s entires in the amateur category as ‘outstanding’.<\/p>\n

\nto the diversity and adaptability of our people and clearly demonstrate
